Installing On-premises Components
The Resolve Actions Express Hybrid Installer is a typical Windows installer. This procedure assumes that you are running it on a clean machine that does not have previous Actions Express installations.
Take the following steps to run the Actions Express Hybrid Installer:
- Copy the Actions Express Hybrid Installer to the machine that will be running the on-premises components of Actions Express SaaS.
- Double-click the Actions Express Hybrid Installer file to start it.
- In the User Account Control screen presented by Windows, click Yes to agree to continue with the installation.
- On the title wizard screen, click Next to start the installation.
- On the License Agreement screen, select I accept the term in the license agreement and then click Next.
- On the Destination Folder screen, select a new installation folder or simply click Next to use the default folder (recommended).
- On the Custom Setup screen, ensure that This feature will be installed on local hard drive is selected for all components and then click Next.
- On the Bridge Connection Details screen, enter the following data and finally click Next:
- Bridge URL—do not change.
- Tenant ID—The Tenant ID that you acquired in Acquiring API Access Details.
- Bridge Client ID—The Bridge Client ID that you acquired in Acquiring API Access Details.
- Bridge Secret Key—The Bridge-type secret key that you generated in Acquiring API Access Details.
- Proxy URL—(Optional) If you want to use a proxy server to connect to your Actions Express SaaS cloud tenant, enter its URL here.
- Username—(Optional) If the proxy server requires authentication, enter the username here.
- Password—(Optional) If the proxy server requires authentication, enter the password here.
- Skip this step – Only when upgrading—Leave this box unchecked onfresh installations.
- On the Ready to Install the Program screen, click Install.
- On the Wizard Completed screen, click Finish.
