VM Folder Create

To be able to use the activity, you need to install VMware PowerCLI on the Resolve Actions Express Executor server.

Activity Description​

Creates a Virtual Machine folder on a vCenter.

Settings​

  • Host Name—The host name or IP address. This must be either the vCenter device or the ESXi device (you can configure the device with Platform type vCenter/ESXi under Devices).
  • User Name—The user name of an account that has read/write access to the host.
  • Password—The password of the account listed in the User Name field.
  • Parent Folder—The path of the folder in which to create the new folder.
  • New Folder—The name of the new folder to create.

To create a folder under the root folder, set the parent folder's name to "Datacenter".
