Write File

Activity Description​

Creates a new plain text file.

note

If the file already exists, it is rewritten, unless Append to File is checked, then the new text is added to the existing file.

Success/Failure

Settings​

  • Value – The text added to the file.
  • Append to File – Determines whether the text is added to the file's content.
  • Path – The path where the file should be located.
  • Host Name – The host name or IP address.
  • User Name – If required, the username of an account that has read-write access to the host.
  • Password – If required, the password of the account listed in the User Name field.
