Actions on Categories

New categories can be created, and existing categories can be deleted or edited.

Creating a Category​

For more information about categories, see the Starting a New Activity section.

Take these steps to create a new category:

  1. Open the Activity Designer.
  2. In the left navigation bar, click + New Category.
  3. In the New Category dialog box that appears, enter the category name.

You can also create a new category from the New Activity Modal.

Renaming a Category​

Take these steps to rename a category:

  1. Open the Activity Designer.
  2. In the left navigation bar, hover your mouse over the category label.
  3. Click the Pencil icon.

The Rename Category modal will open, where you can change the category name to another unique name.

Deleting a Category​

Only empty categories can be deleted. To delete a category that has activities in it, use the Edit Metadata option in the activity to move the activity to another category until the desired category is empty.

Take these steps to rename a category:

  1. Open the Activity Designer.
  2. In the left navigation bar, hover your mouse over the category label.
  3. Click the trash can icon.
